The Balancing Stones Sculpture Writing Project
February - March 2017
Good Afternoon everyone! We are now back with our Journals, and we are continuing on with Stone 7. We've met about what to do with our Stone 7 word last time we were together here on the Blog. My word for Stone 7 was "Behavorism", which is indicated on the Balancing Stones Sculpture print-out that you see at the top of the Blog here.
If you are new to our Writing Project, you may be wondering what we need our Journals for? Well, we've written our first Journal page starting with our Stone 6 word. My Stone 6 word was "Therapy", which you can see on the print-out at the top of the Blog. The writing that I did for an example for everyone was posted on a previous Blog post in full. My particular example was based on writing from the angle of a Novelist, and the page was written like a page from a Novel. Then what we all did was pull out a word from our 1st Journal page writing that we wrote about our Stone 6 word, to use for our next word choice for our Stone 7.
Next we were to write a full page on our Stone 7 word choice, and add that page to our Journal as our 2nd full Journal page.
The point of this Writing Project is to get you to expand your mind about your writing. You can jump right in if you are new to our Writing Project. You just need to pick up a Journal and start right where we are on Stone 7. If you'd like to back up further, all you have to do is read through the previous Blog posts (See far right column Blog Archive).
At this point, everyone who has been following along should have chosen a word for their Stone 7 from the first Journal page that we all wrote on our Stone 6 word. At this point, what we all have now is a full 2nd page in our Journal about our Stone 7 word. My word for Stone 7 is "Behavorism". In keeping with the angle from which I was writing for my first full Journal page writing -- Novelist, I wrote my 2nd full Journal page like a page out of a Novel as well.
If you are new to our Writing Project, you can choose to pick a word that is near and dear to your heart about the area of writing that you are interested in, such as the environment, or climate change, or travel, or film, etc. Once you have chosen your word, you need to write a full Journal page about the topic/subject matter from the angle of the particular type of Writer that is dear to your heart, i.e., News Reporter, Columnist, Journalist, Novelist, Author, Short-Story Writer, Poet, etc.
For everyone here: New participants or those who have been following along the entire length of our Writing Project, please pull out your Journals to get started with our Stone 7 word. Whatever your word may be, be sure to insert that word onto your Balancing Stones Sculpture print-out as your Stone 7. (Please follow previous Instructions on placement of your Stone 7 word from the previous Blog post).
Pull your Journals out to get started . . .
Journal Writing - Stone 7
All participants should have a full page Journal post about the topic/subject matter of their Stone 7 word. (If you are new, and would like to jump in now, you may just start your writing today).
As I've mentioned, my Stone 7 word is "Behavorism".
We will take a short break so that everyone can get their writing tools in order:
1) Journal
2) Full Journal page writing about Stone 6
3) Full Journal page writing about Stone 7
4) Balancing Stones Sculpture Print-out
For those who need a Review, please take a moment during our short break to read the previous Blog posts, which you can easily get to by either scrolling down or by clicking on the links in the far right column where it says "Blog Archive".
When we come back from Break, I will fill you in on my 2nd full Journal page writing that I did for my Stone 7 word.
See you shortly!
Short Break during our Writing Project
Peace, Love & Light,
