The Balancing Stones Sculpture Writing Project
February - March 2017
We are back and we are all pulling out our Journals, which is the next tool that we are using in our Writing Project.
We left off with placing the last word that we came up with on our Stone 6, which was to be placed to the left of our Stone 5, or directly above our Stone 5 (depending upon the lay-out of your Balancing Stones Sculpture). [All of us placed our Stone 5 on the Stone that sits on the pedestal].
Once again, pull out your Balancing Stones Sculpture print-out and place it on your desk along side your new Journal that you purchased just for this Writing Project. Your Journal should be one that feels personal to you. Here is how my personal Balancing Stones Sculpture looks up to this point...

Now here is where our next tool comes into play -- Our Journal . . .
Last time we were together, we opened up our brand new Journals, and on the first page, we wrote the word that we chose for your Stone 6, like so . . .
Then some of us decided that we wanted to be creative, so we also wrote our word for Stone 6 down on the cover of our new Journals (If the cover of the Journal was blank)...like so...
Today, our assignment is to write in our new Journals about the topic that is on the cover of our Journal, and/or on the first page of our Journal. The topic is the word that is also on our Stone 6 on our Balancing Stones Sculpture print-out. Each of us have different words on our Stones that are personal to us. We are all focused on what is near and dear to us with regard to our Writing.
Your writing right now in your Journal will be enjoyable because you will really make it a point to get into the topic that is in your focus.
Take your Stone 6 word and think about it. Where does it lead you in your mind?
Why did you choose your Stone 6 word in the first place?
Using my personal word for Stone 6, which is "Therapy". In our last session here on the Blog, I mentioned why I chose the word, "Therapy" . . . (It is what I came up with after thinking about my heart's desire with regard to my Writing, and also because of what I came up with from the information that I gathered during our research).
Before you begin to write in your Journal about your Stone 6 word, think about what angle you are writing from. Are you writing as a Poet? A Journalist? A News Reporter? A Novelist? A Film-Maker? A Song Writer? A Short-Story Teller?
Once you have answered the above question in your head & heart, then WRITE a full page based upon your Stone 6 word, and the angle from which you are writing from (Poet, Journalist, News Reporter, Novelist, Film-Maker, Song Writer, Short-Story Teller, etc.).
SPECIAL NOTE: If you are just joining us, you may easily go back and look at previous Blog posts to catch up with us, or you can just start right here with Stone 6. Just purchase a Journal and you can come right on into our Balancing Stones Sculpture Writing Project writing a full page based upon a word that you choose that is near and dear to your Writing and what you are concerned about. [Example: The Environment, The Arts, The Community . . .]
Remember, this is an eye-opening Writing Project that is personal to you and your writing desires.
HAPPY WRITING!
See you back here tomorrow!
Peace, Love & Light,
