The Balancing Stones Sculpture
Writing Project
February - April 2017
We are back with our Journals. We have our full Journal page written using all of the words on our Stones. Our Journal page will help us to get to our last word for our last Stone, which is Stone 9.
The purpose of writing your full Journal page is to assist you with the practice of Journal Writing to lead you to writing in the area of your heart's desire. Because you have a connection with all of the words that you chose for your Stones, each word should have a particular meaning for you.
With the use of all of the words on your Stones, you should have been able to stretch your mind to come up with a Story. You should have also been prompted to think outside of the box by using all of your chosen words on your Stones.
As promised, my full Journal page example follows, and you should have your full Journal page example out and follow along so that we can get to our last Stone -- Stone 9!

of all of the words on my Stones . . .
There is a
special place in the mind where the Novelist goes to pull out new information for
the purpose of fresh and unique Novels.
The best way
to create good Novels is to use a Journal
to record the behaviorism of the people you come in contact
with. By writing your Journal
entries you will find that you have entered into the world of therapy
for yourself and your soul, and also for the characters you create as
you write your Novels.
Another good
way to inject a twist or turn in your story is to add in a date that is not
current, such as 1728.
What could have happened in 1728 that can add flavor to your Novel? It is a question that will be answered when
you research the year of your choice.
You may find
that in doing your research on a chosen year that there may have been some kind
of radical event that occurred. Like for instance, I found out that in 1728
an Opera entitled, The Beggar’s Opera
premiered in London, England. The man
who wrote the ballad opera was an English poet and a dramatist. His name was John Gay, and he was born on
June 30th, 1685 in Barnstaple, England. John Gay died on December 4th,
1732, and was also a member of the Scriblerus Club, and is best remembered for The Beggar’s Opera (1728).
If you can
write a Novel, an Opera, a Play, a Script, a Film, a Short Story, Lyrics, a
Poem, or faithfully write Journal or Diary entries daily, that is enough to let
you know that there is a Writer in YOU!
And the
point being – Trust yourself to write like only you can, and the world will be
a much better place because your mind, your pen, and your keyboard connected to
create something beautiful and unique that many have been waiting patiently for. Don’t you hear the fingertips drumming away
in the background? I do.

After reading my full Journal page, I found that I used a few of my words more than once. I used my Stone 1 word (Novelist) one (1) time; Stone 2 word (1728) four (4) times; Stone 3 word (Opera) five (5) times; Stone 4 word (Novels) three (3) times; Stone 5 word (Journal) three (3) times; Stone 6 word (Therapy) one (1) time; Stone 7 word (Behavorism) one (1) time; and Stone 8 word (Radical) one (1) time.
Now you are invited to take a look at your full Journal page that you wrote. Here are some questions for you:
1) What did you write about?
2) Did you use any of your words more than
once?
3) Did your writing take a particular direction?
4) Were you inspired to write further after
completing your full Journal Page?
5) Did you find this Writing Project to be helpful in
terms of getting you focused on writing in a
Journal?
6) Can you find something in your writing that
points you in the direction of your writing genre
or the Writing career that you seek?
Take a little time to answer the above questions. After answering the above questions, we will return this evening to uncover our Stone 9 word.
Be sure to have your Balancing Stones Sculpture diagram printed out and at hand with all of your words placed on your Stones.
Oh boy are you going to be surprised at what you learn about yourself when we come back!
See you back here this evening everyone!
Peace, Love & Light,
