Diary Writers Overview

Diary Writers Overview

BLOG SESSION
August 17th, 2017

Good Afternoon Blog Readers, Followers, Diary Writers & Visitors ~ Today, our Blog Session is going to provide you with an overview for Diary Writers.  We've been discussing Diary Writing this month, and we've also highlighted various Diaries for the Author, the Artist, the Photographer, the Poet, the Traveler, and for all Readers here interested in writing a Diary.

Today in our Blog Session, as we dive into the topic of our "Diary Writers Overview", you'll need to keep your mind focused on "Gratitude".  Being thankful and having a readiness to show appreciation for the meaningful aspects of your life, as well as having a readiness to return kindness to those who have shown kindness to you is a great part of operating and understanding your world through a simple principle called "gratitude".  Gratitude costs you nothing, yet it creates inroads that you would not otherwise encounter.

Why write in your Diary
on a daily basis?

The basic reason that everyone should take an interest in writing in a personal Diary on a daily basis is because the benefits are many, and the rewards are countless.  You will learn a great deal about how you think, feel, internalize, and ultimately make decisions.

The relationships in your life are better understood if you are a daily diary writer.  You'll learn why you are connected to the people that you are connected to, and you'll also learn about the personalities in your life that have assisted in your growth and development; as well as those that have derailed your best laid plans.

How your Diary looks is strictly up to you, and the look of your Diary will definitely encourage you to write in your Diary on a daily basis if it is more appealing to your spirit.

Personal Diary

Your personal Diary is for you and mainly about you.  It does not matter what happens so much as how you feel about what happens in your life.  If you are the type of person who can appreciate both the good and the bad ~ the happy and the sad ~ the tough times as well as the times of ease, then you are more than likely the type of person who knows full well about the important meaning of "gratitude".

We must always be thankful for another day of life.  Another chance to live and breathe and enjoy what life has to offer.

Memories

Memories are best recorded in your daily diary.  The family adventures, the friends that were and maybe still are ~ a very important part of your life history.  Remember the time you laughed so hard until you cried?  It could have been when you watched a movie at the theatre, or it could have been the party that you had for yourself, or one of your friends gave to celebrate their birthday.  Remember the time you thought that you would never get past a moment in your life where you had fear, or you were worried, or you were upset?  Well, that moment is long since over.

You see, moments add up to days, then weeks, then years, then before you know it, a decade has gone by.  And, the question is:  Can you distinctly remember every single moment of your life?

FIVE-YEAR MEMORY JOURNAL

FIVE YEAR DIARY

Remembering the moments of your life come much easier when you record them on a daily basis in your Diary.

You may not think that the moments in your life are worth recording, but I'm hear to tell you today that they are.  They really, really are . . .

When we come back here for our next Blog Session, we're going to encounter a Diary that is very famous, and that you no doubt have heard about, and some of you have even read.  I wonder did the Diary Writer ever think that their Diary would live on long after they were gone from this planet?

Will your Diary live on long after you are gone from this planet?

June 2017

It's another wonderful Blog Session today, and we are going to be discussing practicing the ability and skill of being calm in the midst of C r a Z y!

You'll need to get your Journals out for this Blog Session, because we'll have a lot of area to cover.  We were last here talking about "Insanity UnderWraps", including irrational people, abnormal behaviors, personality disorders, and abnormal psychology.

You were given a list of questions to add to your Journal, and a lot of background information for you to write down.

Crazy has a lot to do with people who are mentally deranged, especially as manifested in a wild or aggressive way.  Being deranged is defined as being mad and/or insane.  The mentally deranged primarily are those who have mental illnesses, which are health problems that affect the way a person thinks about their "self", how they relate to others, and how they interact with the world around them. Mental illnesses can affect our thoughts, feelings, abilities and behaviours. Depression and anxiety disorders are the most common mental illnesses.

While many people do not consider "depression" to be a mental illness, if left untreated, it can become a serious problem. Being depressed for long periods of time is not advised nor healthy. If a person or those around them feel that the depression has gone on for too long, it is time to seek professional help.

Depression

If you have a friend or loved one who is glum/somber all the time; never or rarely smiles or laughs; is negative about just about everything; sees no hope or future for theirself; feels as if no one cares about them; has suicidal thoughts; never wants to participate in doing anything for the most part; is angry for no apparent reason that you are aware of or that they want to discuss; or lashes out at the people closest to them in an intense fashion; and it has gotten to the point where no one cares to be in their company, then it is time for them to seek help.

Depression

Pay attention to individuals who have actions that are dark or dull in color or tone; act gloomy; and/or are in essence lifeless in countenance.  Ask yourself if you know what may be wrong with them.  Has there been a tragedy in their life? Have they had a death in their family?  Have they lost their job, home, vehicle, or something else near and dear to them? Are they bitter about something?  Do they have low self esteem?  Do they need to be in a Doctor's care?

A depressed person could possibly be helped if they had someone to talk to whom they trusted.  Maybe that person is you.

If you are able to talk to them, try finding out what is wrong.
Acting as if you don't know or see depressed people does not help them or your conscience.

"Don't you see me?"
(I'm everywhere.)
Depression in the midst

On the other end of the spectrum are those people who create drama in their lives and in the lives of those around them. They seem to somehow get some type of enjoyment out of making everyone around them crazy.  We are talking about those people who seek attention, no matter how negative that attention seeking may be.  I'm talking about the people who will make simple matters seem like catastrophes.

Also at that same end of the spectrum, there are those people who like to argue and who are contentious about anything and everything.  They have to have their way, and they have to be right.  Those are the ones who become extremely combative if you do not agree with them.  They turn into a tasmanian devil if they think they are losing an argument with anyone in their mind.

Tasmanian Devil

Now, there are times when a person like the one we've just described is laughed at and talked about, and everyone seems to think that the person who is the topic of discussion is a wee bit crazy like the Tasmanian Devil of cartoon days . . .

Cartoon Days

But, they are not funny.  Not funny at all.  They are irritating, and annoying.  We're talking about the type of people that wrack your nerves; you cringe when you see them coming; and you feel sick at the sight of them.  Why? Because you know there is nothing good to be expected from them.  There will be an endless back and forth intense talk about nothing of substance that is worthy of your time or attention.  These type of people are known as "Mud Talkers".

Mud Talker

What and Who are Mud Talkers?  They are the people who like to get down dirty in the mud and talk smack about nothing of substance.  And at the end of the discussion, you will be highly irritated, and you will have wasted your time and energy, and you will have absolutely nothing good to show for it.  Trust me, don't waste your time, and please don't take the bait and get in the mud with them.

Lets get back to our Blog Session Header ~

Have you ever been in the midst of two people who are going back and forth arguing at the top of their lungs?  Have you ever been in the middle of a family argument or a Team Argument about an issue?  Have you ever been in a one-on-one discussion with someone and the conversation or discussion turns into an intense Reality Show that you aren't receiving any compensation to be a part of?  If so, then here is some advice for you -- just like the man in the picture between the two women above -- stop, close your eyes, breathe in ~ breathe out, envision a peaceful scene in your mind, say a calming prayer, and let go of the negative energy that is building up -- (return to sender).  As soon as you are able, slowly rise and walk away.

If the person or people try to pull you back into the land of
C r a Z y, tell them you have to go to the bathroom.

Until we have our next wonderful Blog Session ~ Be calm, be cool, be blessed . . .

Peace, Love & Light,

 René
