Diary Writers at work!

Diary Writers at work!

BLOG SESSION
September 16th, 2017

Good Morning Diary Writers! ~ It's time to wake up and get into our Blog Session for today, which is entitled, "Diary Writers at work!"

If you will briefly take a moment to take a look at the artwork at the top of our Blog for today, you'll notice a woman with her eyes closed.  Why are her eyes closed? Because she is reaching into the catacombs of her mind to get ready to write in her Diary.

When you awake in the morning, it is the best time to write in your Diary.  You'll have to get up a little earlier than normal to do this, because of course you will have other things that you will have to do in your day.  It means that you'll have to wake up an hour or two earlier than normal so that your mind will not be in a rushed or hurried state before you begin writing your daily diary entry.

If you have your Diary handy by your bedside, you can simply reach over and grab it and begin your diary entry.  If you are a Dreamer, then this will work especially well for you, because your dream will be fresh in your mind, and you won't lose it.  In an earlier Blog Session, we spoke about Diaries for those who Dream at night...

Diaries for Dreamers

Dreams are of special importance because they tell you a great deal about what is going on inside of you.

While you may not be able to tell your dreams to some people you know because they do not take dreams seriously, you will definitely be able to learn more about your dreams by writing them down in your private diary.  If you are one of our Blog Readers and Diary Writers who know the value of your dreams, I applaud you, and you'll understand when I tell you to stay away from people who laugh or ask you what you had to eat if you tell them about any of your dreams. Those people are dream killers.

Those who cherish their dreams and take the time to write them down will find that they will discover more about their "self", as well as the world around them.

There are many dreamers who have prophetic dreams that tell of things to come.  Prophecy is a "gift" given by God to those who are able to handle the "gift".

A little about Prophetic Dreams...
Prophetic dreams are some of the most perplexing and exciting dreams that it is possible for a person to have. Dreaming of the future is rare, and it does not happen with everyone.  But, when it does, you are given an unexpected chance to order your actions accordingly, either to prevent a catastrophe from happening, or to prepare and make the proper contingency plans.  At other times, though, prophetic dreams concern events unrelated to the dreamer's life, and it is unclear what the dreamer should do about the dream, to help in any way in relation to the dream, or even if there is anything possible at all for the dreamer to do. Sometimes prophetic dreams will be clearly intended for the dreamer to take appropriate action(s).  At other times, the dreamer will simply be privy to a preview, as it were, of events which will shortly take place. And, in some cases, the events may be a little ways off, like days, months or years.  If you chart your prophetic dreams, then you will gain a better gauge on the timing.

Have you had a prophetic dream?

An example of prophetic dreams:

1)  Dreaming about natural disasters to come whether in the area where you live, or in a specific region or area that is clear to you in the dream.

2)  Dreaming about a death of someone close to you.

3)  Dreaming of accidents that involve someone that you know.

4)  Dreaming about specific events that will occur in your life, most of the time unknowingly to you other than through the dream.

5)  Dreaming about Leadership of your workplace, Country, Nation, or Global events.

6)  Dreaming about innovative discoveries or inventions.

7)  Dreaming about church matters.

In the cases of personal prophetic dreams, it should be made clear to you that the purpose of the dream is to inform you of an important piece of information which will make a great deal of difference in your life, or to someone close to you.  Paying close attention to a personal prophetic dream and taking it seriously is a way that you can benefit yourself and/or your loved ones.

If for instance, you dream of moving to another location that you had no intention of doing, and it is shown clearly in your dream where the place is in great detail, then you should prepare for your move.

I am sure that many of the Blog Readers here have known someone that has been aware of their own death beforehand, and has prepared for it, and not because a doctor has told them, but because they have been shown in a dream or received a premonition. When they tell others, of course, most times those they tell will dismiss what they are saying, but the dreamer knows already in their heart of hearts, and have made peace with it.

Prophetic Dreams of Natural Disasters

Natural disasters like earthquakes, devastating storms, floods, fires, tsunamis, tornados, and other such disasters have been received in dream form by those who have prophetic dreams before the event happens. Believe it or not, prophetic dreams of this nature are relatively common, and people who have dreams of this nature will have the dream and see the actual dream unfold upon waking on the news, or the next day or a day later.

Dreams tend to reach the receiver who is most receptive.  The important point about dreams is to write them down.  You can look back on them at another time to gain further understanding if you do not understand them at the time you have the specific dream or dreams.  Some dreams are symbolic, which makes the dream harder to understand.  However, the symbolism has importance, and it is best to write the symbols down, describe them, and if you can, draw them out.

Some dreams can be about your health in a veiled way, or the health of someone you know.  Write everything down in your Dream Diary, and come back to it at another time if you don't understand the dream.  As more information unfolds, be sure to include that information in your Diary.

Dreams can also offer a benefit when it comes to doing a reflective analysis of your life.  If you dream about having a baby and you have no intention of having a baby, that dream may possibly be more about you carrying a new responsibility in relation to your job, such as a new project, and not necessarily really about having an actual baby.  It could also mean that you are about to have a new beginning in your life.  You may be in the midst of birthing a new future.  This is where doing your research and understanding symbolism comes into play.

There is plenty of information about dream interpretation that will help you to learn more about your dreams, and also help you to expand your mind.

For your own personal growth, write down and document your prophetic dreams and premonitions. You can later go back through your Diary to see if they have in fact come true, and to what extent.

Dreamers, you may also benefit from further research on dreams, symbolism, premonitions, and visions. There is plenty of research out there to help you gain a deeper understanding.

If you are in the Ministry, or are familiar with churches that take prophecy seriously, you may benefit from learning more from them.  And you will benefit from doing further Bible Studies.

There are also Dream Dictionaries and other Dream tools that will help you to learn more about your dreams.

There is also plenty of scientific information about dreams, as well as quantitative studies relating to dreams.  Take a little time to do further research Diary Writers, and discover new areas that you can write about and learn from.

Until our next Blog Session ~ Keep your eyes open for new discoveries ~

Soul Travels of a Diary Writer

 ~ Step Seven ~

 DREAMS

BLOG SESSION
August 29th, 2017

Welcome back Blog Readers, Followers, Diary Writers, Dreamers & Visitors ~ We're back for another wonderful Blog Session that you will thoroughly enjoy!

If you are new here to our Blog Sessions, you'll want to Bookmark this Blog now, and look over in the far right-hand column where it says, "Follow by Email", then enter your email address and click the "Submit" button so that you will receive all of the Blog Sessions in your email box as they are posted.

The other item that you will need is a Journal so that you may take notes when you come here for our Blog Sessions.

Of course, we are discussing the benefits of writing daily diary entries, so you will also need to purchase a Diary if you do not have one yet.  You can get a one-year Diary or a Five-Year Diary, whichever Diary you are attracted to.  Most of us have a Diary with a lock & key.

For those of you who are here for the first time, if you do not yet have your Journal to take notes, simply pull out a Notebook, Notepad, or loose leaf paper to take notes for today.

Journal Notes

Our Blog Session for today is about DREAMS.  We all have dreams, whether they are waking dreams, or dreams while we sleep at night.  The important Journal notation for today is this . . .

"Believe in your dreams"

For today, take a few moments to turn your focus within and become still.

If you have dreams when you go to sleep at night, and awake to remember in detail what your dream consisted of, then you would do well to purchase a Dream Diary.

Dream Diary

The other important item that you should pick up is a Dream Dictionary.  Your Dream Dictionary will assist you with finding out the meaning of your dreams, as well as help you to learn to understand the meaning of all of the dream symbols that are in your dreams.

Dream Dictionary

If you have vivid dreams on a regular basis, your Diary will be a very important tool that will aid you in further understanding exactly what is going on in your life, as well as help you with your direction in life.

If you rarely have dreams, then keeping a Diary will prompt you to make a note of each occasion when you do have a dream.  Once you begin to make notes of your Dreams in your Diary, you will find that your dreams will increase.  What you focus on, you will attract more of.

For those Readers here today who are interested in discovering more about your dreams, as well as more in depth information about yourself, then please make a note of the following . . .

Diary ~ Dream Section

Be sure to carve out an area in your Diary for your dream notations.  If you take a look at the above example, you will find a space to write the title of your Dream, the "Feeling upon waking" that you had after dreaming, a space for "Personal Dream Meaning" which is exclusive to your own personal interpretation after you have written down your dream and thought about all of the factors associated with your dream.  The other area is the "Dream Date" where you make a note of the day, month, year, and time upon waking.  The other area is a space for all of your "Dream Details".  The dream details involved in your dream will prove to be very valuable -- like the colours in your dream, the season, weather, places seen in your dream, people in your dream, and the words spoken.  In addition, you should have a space for "Dream Symbols".  When we dream, we will sometimes run across dream symbolism that we may not immediately understand.  Although the dream symbols in our dream may seem odd or incoherent, you must write those symbols down anyway.  You will learn to understand dream symbols by associating yourself with their possible meaning.  The way to do that is to use your Dream Dictionary or a book of Dream Interpretations or Symbols.

Dreams are interpretations of our inclinations,
and there is an art to understanding them.
~ Michel DeMontaigne ~

Some of our Blog Readers following along with us today may be more versed in their dreams.  There are also other tools to help you with understanding your dreams outside of the books suggested.  You may find dream meanings online by checking out the following Sites . . .

If you want to know what's in YOUR dream, check out...

For dream interpretations, check out...

There are also many other sources of information on dreams.  You can do your research on dreams in the Library or online.

One way to really break down your dreams is as follows...

Dreamer's Analysis

The first column is for your Dream's Symbols.  Take a moment to just check out the list in the first column of the dream symbols.  In the second column, you'll see the heading "Context of Life"  where you would list in what relation the dream symbol has to an area in your life.  The third column is the space where you would write down the "Meaning" of the dream symbol in the first column.  The last column is entitled, "Contextual Meaning" ~ this is where you will add further meaning to your dream symbol listed in your first column, and the "Context of Life" meaning you have listed in your second column, and the "Meaning" you have listed in your third column.

Your personal Dreamer's Analysis can be tailored in any way that you choose.  Whatever works best for you is exactly how you should map out your Dreamer's Analysis.

We'll leave off today with the following quote written by a famous Artist . . .

Meaningful Quote by Artist Vincent van Gogh

Soul Travels of a Diary Writer ~ Step Six

BLOG SESSION
August 28th, 2017

Welcome back Blog Readers, Followers, Diary Writers, and Visitors ~ We are about to get back into our discussion about the benefits of writing daily diary entries.

In our last Blog Session we discussed Affirmations, and in particular, the ten Affirmations that personally resonate with you that you have written in your Journal.  The purpose of reading Affirmations and writing Affirmations is to help you to focus your mind on positive statements that will bring about positive changes in your life.

Please pull out your Journal at this time so that you may take notes from tonight's Blog Session . . .

Journal Notes

Tonight, we are going to bring back to your attention two questions that were put before you in our last Blog Session . . .

1)  What is it that you'd like to accomplish in your life?

2)  What is most important to you TODAY?

Take a moment to write the answers to those two questions down in your Journal.  Your answers should take you as long as your honest feelings need to relay what you feel.  There is no need to rush when writing your answers.  If you have several items that you'd like to accomplish in your life at this time, by all means, write them all down.

Whatever it is that you find important today, please write that down in your Journal as well.  There is no right or wrong way to write your answers to those two questions.  Frame your answers the way you like.

While some of us will answer the first question with answers that revolve around material objects, others of us will honestly focus on the accomplishments that are in line with career and/or education.  And, there are a few of us that will focus on Health and wellness.  Still others of us will focus on Family, children, and long-term goals that we'd like to see accomplished in our lifetime.  Whatever it is that you feel you'd like to accomplish in your life at this time, please write it down in your Journal.

The second question:   What is most important to you TODAY?

This calls for some thought on your part.  Here is where you will completely separate this question from the first question.  Your answers to the question about what you'd like to accomplish in your life should be different from your answers in response to the second question.  What you'd like to accomplish and what is most important to you today should be looked at from different points of view.

What you'd like to accomplish may end up being short term or long term.  What is most important to you today should be pin-point clear.

Whenever you make a to-do-list for example, you always scratch off what you have accomplished and taken care of once it is done.  You feel proud that you have taken care of some of the items that were on your to-do-list whenever you can see some progress.  The same holds true for those items in your Journal, as well as your daily diary entries.

Take a moment right now to pull out your brand new Diary, or your Diary that you have been writing in each day . . .

Personal Diary with Key

For those of you who are long-term planners, a Five-Year Diary may work better for you . . .

Five-Year Diary

For the Artists and Designers who are here with us tonight, you may find the following Diary page of interest . . .

Artistic & Creative Diary Page

The Diary Page seen above is an example of how the Diary of an Artist or a very creative person may look.  If you have a creative nature, you will find yourself doodling in your Diary or practicing your Calligraphy.

The main thing that you will take away from tonight's Blog Session is ordering your thoughts and narrowing your focus.  Your daily diary entries will take on a mind of their own, but if you have a focus in terms of what you want in your life, what it is that you seek to accomplish, and how you feel about your daily activities, you'll find that you will benefit from your writings.

Our next Blog Session will open your mind up even further.  We will focus on another aspect of daily living, and that happens to be our "dreams".  Our dreams are important, and what we have to learn to do is not dismiss them.

The Diary for Dreamers

The Diary for Dreamers

BLOG SESSION
August 22nd, 2017

Good Evening Blog Readers, Followers, Diary Writers & Visitors ~ You have just stepped into another great Blog Session that will be nurturing for your soul and spirit.  Tonight it is about speaking to all Dreamers who have been following along as we've discussed Diary Writing and all of its many benefits.

Many people dream on a daily basis.  Some Dreamers remember their dreams clearly.  There are others who do not remember their dreams.  Then, there are those Readers who are following along who may in fact dream, but as soon as they awake their dream disappears like the wisps of the wind.  There are others who dream and only remember fragments of their dream, or have incidents where parts and pieces of their dream may partially come back to their awareness either upon waking or during their daily activities.

How do I record my Dreams?

If you are really interested in learning how to record your Dreams, and get something meaningful out of your dreams, then the first thing you need to do is purchase a helpful Dream Diary or Dream Journal so that you may record your dreams as they occur . . .

Dream Diary or Dream Journal

After you have picked up a wonderful Dream Diary or Dream Journal to record your dreams in, you will have a version of a Dream Diary or Dream Journal that is already equipped with information lines for you to fill in or you will have to insert your own.  If you make your own Dream Diary, then you can tailor it to fit your dream needs.

Following is a great example of Dream Diary pages that will assist you in recording your dreams in an orderly fashion so that you may remember the details of your dream. . .

Dreamer's Diary

The first item you will need to write down upon waking is a title for your Dream.  If you dreamed about walking down a certain path, then you may want to give your Dream a title like, "Path Walker".

Next, you'll need to write down the date of your Dream, and the time.  Being sure to record the date and time of your dream will help you later if your dream is prophetic.

You'll also need to write down the feeling that you had upon waking ~ i.e., did you feel happy, sad, scared, terrified, or peaceful?

Dream details will include everything that you can remember about your dream.  Even if you think that certain parts of your dream are not important, write down each detail anyway.

Next, you'll need to write down the meaning of your dream as you see it.  Ask yourself what do you immediately think that your dream meant?  What comes to your mind after waking?  As the day rolls on, are there any parts of your dream that jump out at you?  If so, remember to write down what happened during your day that points to parts or details of your dream.

The Dream Symbols that appear in your dream are worthy of note.  Don't forget to record each of your dream symbols.  If you dreamed about drums playing, or snakes, or a very bright sun, or lots of grass or hills, be sure to make a note of those details.

Dream Symbols mean different things to different people.  Depending upon where you were born, your belief system, what you were taught, what you do for a living, and/or what is in your subconscious mind ~ will frame what each dream symbol means to you personally.  For instance, some people have a fear of snakes, while other people attach a different meaning to snakes.  Some people believe that snakes represent enemies ~ while other people believe that snakes mean healing.  Whatever the meaning of the dream symbol is for you personally is what you want to make a note of in your Dream Diary.

There are Dream Books that you can also purchase to help you with understanding the meaning of your Dreams.  Dream Books will help you with expanding your thought process about your Dreams.

You may also find helpful Dream Dictionaries online to assist you with Dream Symbols, interpretations, meanings, and analysis of your Dreams.

NOTEWORTHY ITEMS ABOUT DREAMS FOR YOUR JOURNAL . . .

Journal Notes

1.  Some people dream in color; others dream in black
     & white.
2.  Everyone Dreams.
3.  There are some dreams that are common to many
people, such as "falling" dreams, "drowning"
      dreams, and/or "running dreams".
4.  Some dreams are prophetic and predict the future.
5.  Premonitions of things to come: a strong
feeling that something is about to happen,
especially something unpleasant; "she had a
premonition of imminent disaster" ~ foreboding,
intuition, funny feeling, hunch, suspicion, a feeling
in one's bones, butterflies in the stomach, presage,
      misgiving, apprehension, fear, presentiment.
[A feeling or belief that something is going to
happen when there is no definite reason to believe
      that it will.]
6.  Prophetic Dream:  You see the future through
your dream.  It is difficult to determine that a
dream is prophetic because we can only confirm
such a dream after it has taken place.

DREAMS

Taking your dreams seriously means that you are able to acquire a knowledge that you would not otherwise be able to tap into.  Acquiring the ability to interpret your dreams is a very powerful tool.  If you take the time to analyze your dreams, you will be able to learn about your deep secrets, as well as your hidden feelings, emotions, and fears.

Remember, you are the expert when it comes to your dreams.  You are the best person to interpret your dreams primarily because your dreams are specific to you.

Every detail in your dream, even the most minuscule detail is important and must be considered when analyzing your dreams.  Each symbol in your dream represents a feeling, a mood, a memory, or something from your unconscious.

Be sure to look closely at the people, characters, animals, objects, places, emotions, colors, and numbers that are depicted in your dreams.  There may be people in your dreams that symbolize other people in your life with like features or characteristics.  Even the most trivial symbol in your dreams can be significant.

Dreamers ~ If you have any questions, thoughts or comments that you would like to share here on the Blog with regard to Dreams, you may do so in the "Comments Section" at the bottom of this Blog.
