Diary Writers at work!

Diary Writers at work!

BLOG SESSION
September 16th, 2017

Good Morning Diary Writers! ~ It's time to wake up and get into our Blog Session for today, which is entitled, "Diary Writers at work!"

If you will briefly take a moment to take a look at the artwork at the top of our Blog for today, you'll notice a woman with her eyes closed.  Why are her eyes closed? Because she is reaching into the catacombs of her mind to get ready to write in her Diary.

When you awake in the morning, it is the best time to write in your Diary.  You'll have to get up a little earlier than normal to do this, because of course you will have other things that you will have to do in your day.  It means that you'll have to wake up an hour or two earlier than normal so that your mind will not be in a rushed or hurried state before you begin writing your daily diary entry.

If you have your Diary handy by your bedside, you can simply reach over and grab it and begin your diary entry.  If you are a Dreamer, then this will work especially well for you, because your dream will be fresh in your mind, and you won't lose it.  In an earlier Blog Session, we spoke about Diaries for those who Dream at night...

Diaries for Dreamers

Dreams are of special importance because they tell you a great deal about what is going on inside of you.

While you may not be able to tell your dreams to some people you know because they do not take dreams seriously, you will definitely be able to learn more about your dreams by writing them down in your private diary.  If you are one of our Blog Readers and Diary Writers who know the value of your dreams, I applaud you, and you'll understand when I tell you to stay away from people who laugh or ask you what you had to eat if you tell them about any of your dreams. Those people are dream killers.

Those who cherish their dreams and take the time to write them down will find that they will discover more about their "self", as well as the world around them.

There are many dreamers who have prophetic dreams that tell of things to come.  Prophecy is a "gift" given by God to those who are able to handle the "gift".

A little about Prophetic Dreams...
Prophetic dreams are some of the most perplexing and exciting dreams that it is possible for a person to have. Dreaming of the future is rare, and it does not happen with everyone.  But, when it does, you are given an unexpected chance to order your actions accordingly, either to prevent a catastrophe from happening, or to prepare and make the proper contingency plans.  At other times, though, prophetic dreams concern events unrelated to the dreamer's life, and it is unclear what the dreamer should do about the dream, to help in any way in relation to the dream, or even if there is anything possible at all for the dreamer to do. Sometimes prophetic dreams will be clearly intended for the dreamer to take appropriate action(s).  At other times, the dreamer will simply be privy to a preview, as it were, of events which will shortly take place. And, in some cases, the events may be a little ways off, like days, months or years.  If you chart your prophetic dreams, then you will gain a better gauge on the timing.

Have you had a prophetic dream?

An example of prophetic dreams:

1)  Dreaming about natural disasters to come whether in the area where you live, or in a specific region or area that is clear to you in the dream.

2)  Dreaming about a death of someone close to you.

3)  Dreaming of accidents that involve someone that you know.

4)  Dreaming about specific events that will occur in your life, most of the time unknowingly to you other than through the dream.

5)  Dreaming about Leadership of your workplace, Country, Nation, or Global events.

6)  Dreaming about innovative discoveries or inventions.

7)  Dreaming about church matters.

In the cases of personal prophetic dreams, it should be made clear to you that the purpose of the dream is to inform you of an important piece of information which will make a great deal of difference in your life, or to someone close to you.  Paying close attention to a personal prophetic dream and taking it seriously is a way that you can benefit yourself and/or your loved ones.

If for instance, you dream of moving to another location that you had no intention of doing, and it is shown clearly in your dream where the place is in great detail, then you should prepare for your move.

I am sure that many of the Blog Readers here have known someone that has been aware of their own death beforehand, and has prepared for it, and not because a doctor has told them, but because they have been shown in a dream or received a premonition. When they tell others, of course, most times those they tell will dismiss what they are saying, but the dreamer knows already in their heart of hearts, and have made peace with it.

Prophetic Dreams of Natural Disasters

Natural disasters like earthquakes, devastating storms, floods, fires, tsunamis, tornados, and other such disasters have been received in dream form by those who have prophetic dreams before the event happens. Believe it or not, prophetic dreams of this nature are relatively common, and people who have dreams of this nature will have the dream and see the actual dream unfold upon waking on the news, or the next day or a day later.

Dreams tend to reach the receiver who is most receptive.  The important point about dreams is to write them down.  You can look back on them at another time to gain further understanding if you do not understand them at the time you have the specific dream or dreams.  Some dreams are symbolic, which makes the dream harder to understand.  However, the symbolism has importance, and it is best to write the symbols down, describe them, and if you can, draw them out.

Some dreams can be about your health in a veiled way, or the health of someone you know.  Write everything down in your Dream Diary, and come back to it at another time if you don't understand the dream.  As more information unfolds, be sure to include that information in your Diary.

Dreams can also offer a benefit when it comes to doing a reflective analysis of your life.  If you dream about having a baby and you have no intention of having a baby, that dream may possibly be more about you carrying a new responsibility in relation to your job, such as a new project, and not necessarily really about having an actual baby.  It could also mean that you are about to have a new beginning in your life.  You may be in the midst of birthing a new future.  This is where doing your research and understanding symbolism comes into play.

There is plenty of information about dream interpretation that will help you to learn more about your dreams, and also help you to expand your mind.

For your own personal growth, write down and document your prophetic dreams and premonitions. You can later go back through your Diary to see if they have in fact come true, and to what extent.

Dreamers, you may also benefit from further research on dreams, symbolism, premonitions, and visions. There is plenty of research out there to help you gain a deeper understanding.

If you are in the Ministry, or are familiar with churches that take prophecy seriously, you may benefit from learning more from them.  And you will benefit from doing further Bible Studies.

There are also Dream Dictionaries and other Dream tools that will help you to learn more about your dreams.

There is also plenty of scientific information about dreams, as well as quantitative studies relating to dreams.  Take a little time to do further research Diary Writers, and discover new areas that you can write about and learn from.

Until our next Blog Session ~ Keep your eyes open for new discoveries ~

Soul Travels of a Diary Writer ~ Step Four

Soul Travels of a Diary Writer
Step Four

BLOG SESSION
August 26th, 2017

Welcome back Diary Writers, Blog Readers, Followers & Visitors ~ We are now on Step Four of our Soul Travels of a Diary Writer Blog Session Series.

If you have your Journal ready to take notes, please pull it out.  We left off with each Blog Reader having the assignment of writing down twenty (20) items in their Journal.  The twenty items that should be written in your Journal are as follows . . .

You should have ten (10) Affirmations that resonate with you, and ten (10) things that have been on your mind that seem to be getting in the way in terms of getting clear, feeling at peace, or sleeping.

Those 20 items that you have written in your Journal are the reference points for you to refer to so that you may strike a balance in your life.  As you begin to write your daily diary entries, you will gain further clarity when you review your twenty reference points from your Journal.

Whenever you have Affirmations that resonate with you, it gives you an idea of what your soul desires may be.  That is the reason you were asked to gather ten (10) Affirmations and write them in your Journal.

Your Affirmations are meant to help you to erase the ten items that have been on your mind that seem to be getting in the way in terms of getting clear, feeling at peace, or sleeping.

Let's take one Affirmation from our last Blog Session as a demonstration . . .

"Today is a brand new day.
My past does not define me.
My future is mine to create."

If one of your ten items from your list of things that have been on your mind that seem to be getting in the way in terms of getting clear, feeling at peace, or sleeping was:  "I have guilt from not doing something a different way a year ago that has caused me problems ever since" ~ The above Affirmation should help you to erase your "guilt" feelings about that particular incident.

Of the ten items that you may have on your list, which of those items can stand up to the weight of the Affirmation that was just used in our example?

At this point, you should ask yourself the following question . . .

AFFIRMATION FOR TODAY:
"Today is a brand new day.
My past does not define me.
My future is mine to create."

There is no issue, problem, or incident that the above Affirmation does not put to rest.

Just like anything else in life, repetition creates a habit, and habits tend to form your beliefs.  Do you believe that Affirmations work?

Please remember from our last Blog Session, the following Affirmation . . .

"It's the repetition of affirmations
that leads to belief.
And once that belief becomes a
deep conviction,
things begin to happen."
~ Claude M. Bristol ~

"Today is a brand new day.
My past does not define me.
My future is mine to create."

We will leave off for today with the above Affirmation for you to focus on until our next Blog Session.  Say this Affirmation aloud after you have read your ten items from your Journal that have been on your mind that seem to be getting in the way in terms of getting clear, feeling at peace, or sleeping.  Then repeat the Affirmation aloud until your ten items dissipate.

Let's see what happens after we come back!

Creative Scroll Project!

BLOG SESSION
August 3rd, 2017

Creative Scroll Project!

Good Afternoon Blog Readers, Followers & Visitors ~  This Blog Session is for all Authors, Novelists, Journalists, Aspiring Authors, Emerging Authors, Poets, and Creative Writers with ink.  If you are a Writer of any genre, or an Artist of any medium, then this Blog Session is for you too!

In fact, you'll enjoy this Blog Session no matter what your background is, or what you may think you are capable of creating or doing.

Today we are going to discuss how to get busy doing a Creative Scroll Project.  It is not common for people to be running around creating Scrolls, which is the very reason why we are going to do it!

First off, since we always come here to the Blog Session with our Journals in hand, you may want to get yours out at this point to take notes . . .

Creative Journals with pen & pencil holders

The reason why I am showcasing the above Journals is because it will put your mind into the zone of a Scroll.  In our last Blog Session there was a nice large Scroll for you to see so that you could begin to visualize doing something a little different from the norm...

Creative Scroll Project

Now the Scroll that you see above can be purchased, or if you are creative, it can be made.  Remember the old fashioned Scrolls that you have no doubt seen at some point in your life? . . .

Old Fashioned Scroll

Let's go over a little history lesson about Scrolls . . .

For centuries, people used paper scrolls to document information, much in the same way we use sheets of paper to document information today.  Scrolls were used for centuries in countries like China, Egypt, and Greece.  Whether you want to make a Scroll just to find out if you have it in you to do something unique, or you really think that you may like making Scrolls as a new hobby for yourself, it is worth checking this out.  Just for the sake of getting into the Literary Spirit and having some Writer's Fun, we are going to learn something new today.  The process is simple.  All you have to do is choose a type of paper and consider adding text or drawings.  If you want to make an ancient-looking scroll, you can age your paper with a tea or coffee stain.

Scroll Writers, here is what you need to do to get started with this great Creative Scroll Project:

1.   Do your Research
Start by researching different scrolls.  In this new day and age, there is a wonderful tool out called the internet.  And there is also a Site called youtube, where you can find out anything, and learn anything.  Isn't that wonderful!
Researching different types of scrolls will help you to decide how you want your personal scroll to look.  Check out all of the different types of scrolls online, and then see if any of the scrolls inspire you.  If you find that a particular type of scroll captures your attention, and you like the look of it, go with it!

2.   Next, make a decision
Decide whether you want your scroll to look modern or ancient.  If you decide to go with the ancient look, then consider ageing your paper (use coffee or tea).
If you would like to have your scroll look totally different from what you see online, then you can make a unique and innovative scroll.  You may also decide to combine various features that you like in the scrolls that you see when you do your research, and come up with a very unique and personal scroll that means the world to you!

3.   Next step, select your paper
Choose the type of paper that you would like to use for your scroll.  You can use colorful construction paper, drawing paper, or plain printed paper.  All of these type papers can be aged later by soaking them in coffee or tea if you are going for the "ancient look".
You can also consider using large brown paper bags for your scroll if you are going for the aged look.  If you use the brown paper bags, then you can forego the tea and coffee staining.  You will need to cut a rectangle shape out of the large brown paper bag, and use it as your form to make more rectangles to piece together.
Using multiple pieces of paper, and taping them together to make an extra-long scroll will work just fine for your scroll project.
Another genius idea for your scroll project is to mix and match different colors and/or papers ~ just make sure that each piece of paper that you use is the exact same size.
Now, if you really feel like you want to get extra special with this fun scroll project, then try using papyrus like the ancient Egyptians did!

4.   Moving on to the next step ~ Decide what you want to write and/or draw on your scroll
Just remember that Scrolls were traditionally used to document information, history, and to tell stories.  Scrolls were also used as decorative literary displays.
If you do Bible Studies on a daily or weekly basis, you may want to use your Scroll for recording your Bible Studies.
If you are a Researcher, you may want to use your Scroll to record your Research Studies.
If you are an Artist, your Scroll may be the perfect tool for your artistic creations.
If you are a Fashion Designer, what a perfect idea and great instrument for you to lay out all of your latest fashion designs ~ Your Fashion Scroll!
Of course Interior Designers will love the idea of a Scroll as well.
Do you have an idea for a decorative new lay~out for your home or office?  Maybe a nice Scroll can be just the thing to get your ideas flowing.
If your Drawings could use a new form of display to make your artistic creations jump out ~ Try a Scroll.  Animator?  Try a Scroll.  Graphic Designer?  Try a scroll!

5.   Be Innovative with your Scroll Ideas
Try your hand at an Egyptian inspired scroll using hieroglyphics (the ancient form of Egyptian writing).
You may also want to use your scroll for your language studies if you are studying foreign languages.
Are you a World Traveler?  If so, you may want to use your scroll to map out your travels.

6.   Mystery Writer ~ try something new!
If you are a Mystery Writer, you may want to use a scroll for your latest story.

7.    Are you into calligraphy?
If so, what a perfect way for you to use your talent ~ on your scroll!  Use different colour inks to make your scroll interesting.

There's a lot more to making a Scroll, and we will go over more inspirational tips about our Creative Scroll Project in our next Blog Session.

Friends, Writers, Artists and Creatives ~ See you in our next Session with your Journal ready for more note taking!
Be ready with your Journal in hand for our next Blog Session!

BLOG SESSION
JUNE 2017

Sometimes babies know best...

We're back for another Blog Session, and we're discussing "empathy".  We had previously been discussing Empaths and Clairsentients on our last Blog Session.  We also touched on the fact that the idea of empathic people is becoming more highlighted in our consciousness as a society, and a lot of people have been able to identify with the definition.

The topic of "empathy" comes into view and should be discussed today for recording in your Journal notes.  If you are new here to the Blog, just so you know, we write in our Journals for every Blog Session.  If you do not have a Journal, please stop and pick one up, or grab your Notebook or some index cards for today's Blog Session.  If you are a daily Diary user, your Diary will work just fine as well.  We labeled our Journal for the month of June with the title of "Empath Journal" . . .

So now is the time to pull out your Journal and your trusty ink pen to begin your Journal Writing for today . . .

Let's start first with the definition of "empathy":

noun
  1. "the ability to understand and share the feelings of another."

Lets go a little further with understanding "Empathy". . .

If we understand "empathy" to be the action of understanding, being aware of, being sensitive to, and vicariously experiencing the feelings, thoughts, and experience of another of either the past or present without having the feelings, thoughts, and experience fully communicated in an objectively explicit manner", then we can ascertain that our understanding, awareness, feelings, thoughts, and connection with the experience of another person is important in connection with empathy.  It would also make sense that an Empath would be able to do all that is described in connection with "empathy" just by the very nature of who an Empath is.

Empathy is so vital in terms of gaining a better understanding of others and also being clear about what the significance of "empathy" is that the 1st week in June is dedicated to it...

For your Journal Notes:  Scientific research currently divides empathy into the categories of emotional empathy’ and ‘cognitive empathy’. Emotional empathy is the ability to respond emotionally to what another person is going through, and cognitive empathy is the ability to comprehend another person’s perspective or mental state.

Neuroscience, however, which has been dedicated to investigating empathy over the last decade or so, has found that there is a scientific explanation for how living creatures are able to empathise with others. Neuroscientists have called this phenomenon mirror-touch synaesthesia, where mirror neurons are activated when one animal sees another animal perform a particular behaviour.  It has been suggested that in the case of empaths, mirror neuron activity is particularly acute.

Empathy

It has been proposed that, like in the case of people with a very low empathic response, childhood trauma may be present to a greater degree in empaths than in the majority of the population.  The ability to empathise with the unpleasant experiences of another person may come, to some extent, from having had similar experiences.  However, having had similar experiences does not always mean that someone is able to empathise with others going through the same thing.

We all need to learn how to be more empathetic ~ "showing an ability to understand and share the feelings of another."

As we close out this Blog Session, I'll leave you with this entry for your Empath Journal about the POWER OF EMPATHY . . .

We have much more information to cover.  We'll be back here on the Blog discussing how people with Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder (OCPD) have the capacity to experience great emotional depth because of their hypersensitivity.  And we will also discuss the difference between Empaths and Highly Sensitive People.

For now we'll take a brief coffee break and come back to resume our Blog Session . . .

Coffee Break!

~ See you back here shortly ~

Peace, Love & Light,

 René
