Dangerous Leaders


As we take a good look around the world, we will find Leaders of many different backgrounds and cultures. While many of the Leaders who are in position at this time in history are worthy of their positions, there are many who are NOT.

Depending on where you live on this breath~taking planet of ours, will determine what type of Leadership resides in your territory, and what type of Leader that you are dealing with.

We will be discussing the signs of a "Dangerous Leader".  But, before we do that, please grab your Journal for our Blog Session for today, because the first thing we are going to do is jot down some of the qualities and attributes of a Good Leader...


JOURNAL NOTES

QUOTE:  "Leadership is a trait known to many, learned by some and perfected by few."

For your Journal Notes, here are the (must have) qualities & traits of a good Leader...

1.  Leadership is a trait that is not passed on or inherited, it has to be earned, and on a daily basis.

2.  In a world where every third person is a self-proclaimed expert on business and leadership, it is important to learn from the very best.

3.  In the present predominantly democratic society, a leader is selected by the people from the people and for the people.

4.  It is important for a leader to be ‘concordant’ and ‘approachable’ in order to facilitate an environment of growth and intellect.

5.  A leader that can get along with his or her  followers, listen and be appreciative of their ideas, and take care of their needs is the leader of the future.

6.  The most effective leaders in the world seldom use the word ‘I’, they say ‘we’.

7.  The best leaders always think in terms of a team and believe in ‘team work’.

8.  It is the job of every leader to make the team function and the ones that understand that start thinking along the same lines and are effective.

9.  True leaders accept the challenges and work towards making their team efficient.

10.  A true leader creates trust.

Take a moment to write down the ten
traits/qualities and important items listed
 for good Leaders.

There are many types of Leaders:
Business, Political, World...

Here is a short list of ~ Types of Leaders:
  1. Thought leaders
  2. Courageous leaders
  3. Inspirational leaders
  4. Servant leaders
