Soul Travels of a Diary Writer

Soul Travels of a Diary Writer

BLOG SESSION
August 23rd, 2017

Good Morning Diary Writers, Blog Readers, Followers & Visitors ~ We are back here for another inspirational Blog Session about the "Soul Travels of a Diary Writer".

We have been discussing Diary Writing, and what we are going to do today is get into the deeper benefits of writing personal daily diary entries.  There are several items to consider when you purchase your Diary and truly write within the pages from your heart & soul. So friends, now is the time to get your Journal out so that you can take notes . . .

Journal Notes

The first thing all Diary Writers here should consider is this ~ what is the pressing issue or thing that is on your mind at this point in time in your life?

For every Reader here today, the answer to the above question will be different.  For some of the Readers here, the most pressing issue will be finances.  For others it will be marriage issues.  For many others it will be children and/or extended family.  For a select group of Readers here the issue will be taking care of elder parents.  There are many Readers here who have simply had it with their work place.  For many other Readers, the issue is the state of their community ~ and for others, the state of their nation.

Whatever your issue is at this point in your life, take a moment to write whatever that issue is down in your Journal for an emotional reference point.

Many times, our reactions to situations and/or circumstances that arise in our lives has much to do with other things that we have been dwelling on.  Sometimes the things that we dwell on are on a subconscious level.  If you run into a glitch in the road, the glitch has the ability to propel you or defer you.  The ability of the glitch to have any power over your life is dependent upon your thinking.  Consider the glitch to be your challenge.  Just how strong is your ability to rise above any challenges that you face in your life?

Let us take an example of a woman at your job that grates on your nerves.  The sound of her voice makes you want to scream.  Let's say that you have been dealing with this irritating woman for a few years.  Your family or friends may or may not know about this irritating woman.  But, one thing that they will know is that you get very annoyed by things that may not make sense to them.  Your patience may have worn thin, and it may not take much to send you over the edge.  Does this scenario sound familiar to you?

The example of the irritating woman at the job is just for the purpose of allowing you to think for a minute about what it is that may be your top annoyance.  Take a moment to write down in your Journal whatever it is that irritates or annoys you the most.

Write it down . . .

In your Journal, you should write down your answers to the following questions . . .

1.  What is the pressing issue or thing that is on your mind at this point in time in your life?

2.  Just how strong is your ability to rise above any challenges that you face in your life?

3.  What is the top annoyance or irritation that you deal with?

Shifting Gears

Now that you have those three answers written down in your Journal, we are going to shift gears . . .

Think about the following items, and write the answers down in your Journal:

1.  What is it that you desire to do in your life at this point in time (regardless of whether you believe it is possible or not)?

2.  What is your strongest attribute?  What is it that other people tell you that you are good at?

3.  What is the most peaceful and/or soothing thing that you enjoy?

Break-even Analysis

We are going to do a Break-even Analysis in a very creative way today.  For those of you who do not know what a Break-even Analysis is, I'll tell you, a Break-even Analysis is an analysis to determine the point at which revenue received equals the costs associated with receiving the revenue.

For those Readers here today, some of you may own a Business and may be familiar with a Break-even Analysis.  For those of you who are not, I'm going to share a little insight with you . . .

If you have ever wondered about how to do a Break-even Analysis for your Business, it is a matter of simple math if you can accurately forecast the costs and sales your business will be working with for the coming periods.

The purpose of doing a Break-even Analysis is to determine exactly when you can expect your business to cover all expenses and start generating a profit -- which is a crucial milestone in the early days of any company.

If you are a Business Owner, then you know that it is important to identify your costs, determine your projected sales figures, and then you will be able to see how much revenue is necessary in order for you to pay your expenses.

For the purposes of this Blog Session, make a note in your Journal that a company has achieved break-even when its total sales or revenues equal its total expenses.  No profit has been made at the break-even point, nor have any losses been incurred.

What does this Break-even Analysis have to do with writing in your Diary?

Diary Writer

Diary Writer, you are to consider all of the many things that go on in your life on a daily basis.  The best way to identify those minuscule items and place them on your diary pages is to write them down.

Your Break-even Analysis of your life at this point should be considered this way ~ You have no losses, and you have no profit.  Whether you think you do or you don't -- we are all at the same point for the purposes of this Blog Session exercise.

Here's the question:  What do you want to achieve?

We are about to get into understanding exactly how your soul can rise up and speak forth what is needed at this point in your life.

You are now on the first step of . . .
